Our latest acquisition is the fabulous Cazal range. Popular in the early 80s and now a staple with too cool New York pop artists artists like Jay Z and Rihanna but was originally an integral part of the hip hop scene.
Hand made in Germany the brand caters to consumers who want something extra with their sunglasses — not just basic protection from the sun but also to make a statement. The super future aesthetic, appeals to celebrities with a flair for lavish design and has contributed to the brand’s cult sensation and success.
The “It’s Like That” trio Run-D.M.C.’s Darryl McDaniels is widely attributed with ballooning the cult sensation of CAZAL eyewear in the 80s and altogether popularizing the iconic 80s hip hop look. He was a fan of the 607s — one of the first pairs ever released.
